Why did Christ sacrifice the chance to have a wife and a family?
How is this considered a good thing?
Isn’t the entirety of modern Christian faith based on the concept of familial values?

Now all we have to look for in Jesus’ life is the bible and we all know that it is not a very complete book and it is very vague in a lot of different areas. If you remember all the writings were just scrolls and oral history which was compiled into the bible. There are things that have been left out for sure and who knows if that is one of them. Take for example, as the Catholics were translating and starting as a church they had the law of celibacy in place, and if it turns out that Jesus was married and had a family it wouldn’t be so hot to trot, so maybe one guy that was doing that part of the translation threw it out. Who knows what could have happened.
