A vast array of pharmaceuticals—including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones—have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans, an Associated Press investigation shows. The presence of so many drugs is worrying scientists.
Our bodies process medication but not entirely. Our bodies absorb some of the medication, but the rest of it passes through and is flushed down the toilet where it can then be enjoyed by wildlife and strangers alike. :blah:

This doesn’t surprise me at all. I wonder how many PPM they are though…
This is an awful fact to hear…medications in water? yuck!
Thats horrible, it was on the news and in all the papers. Luckily it wasnt around me but its scarey. Anything could be in the water.

So you’re telling me that you don’t like the taste of drugs in your water?
This article is depressing. It pretty much states that water or any food/beverage that uses water can be contaminated and we don’t know the long term side effects.
Bottled water, well water and some states’ tap water haven’t even been tested yet for drugs. I wonder what they’ll find in New York water…
