I’m looking to buy a fitness machine for the house. My ideal first choice would be a Bowflex Treadclimber, however the least expensive model, the TC1000, costs $1,799.
Looking at less expensive options I’ve found the NordicTrack Elliptical ASR 630, and the NordicTrack Commercial Elliptical 1300. They cost a respective $499, and $799.
I like the ASR 630 a lot, it has some nice iPod integration and really seems like a great buy, but its reviews seem pretty mixed. The Elliptical 1300 seems pretty straightforward and while it lacks features it looks pretty sturdy and built to last.
Does anyone have any experience with any of these fitness machines. How about other options? I’m looking for some good low-impact cardio so treadmills are a bit out of the question.
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
