Due to popular demand here’s another photo of McClain with a stick.

…and an update on the last entry: Cass allowed McClain to bring sticks into the house with an understood rule that he must keep his sticks in his crate. It seems to be working well so far; we’re all very happy about the arrangement.

McClain has recently become very fond of sticks. Every time Cass and I take him out to go potty he tries to bring a stick back in the house.

I made the mistake of letting him bring one in once, the next morning there were bits of wood everywhere.

Here’s a picture of him with a stick from yesterday. It was the biggest branch he could find. It was funny watching him try to drag it back to the house considering it was about as big as him.
