I’m interested in adopting a dog sometime soon. Does anyone know the process involved? I’d prefer a puppy and have never owned my own dog before.
Do I need someone to vouch for my ability to have a pet? Where would I begin looking? I’m particularly interested in a terrier of some sort but any loving dog would do fine.
Thanks ![]()

A winter’s day-
in a deep and dark December
I am alone-
Gazing from my window to the streets below
On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow.
I am a rock, I am an island.I’ve built walls,
A fortress deep and mity
That none may penetrate
I have no need of friendship
friendship causes pain
It’s laughter and loving I disdain
I am a rock, I am an islandDon’t talk of love
but I’ve heard the word before
It’s sleeping in my memory
I won’t disturb the slumber of the feelings that have died
If I never loved I never would have cried
I am a rock, I am an islandI have my books
and my poetry to protect me
I am shielded in my armour
Hiding in my room, safe within my womb,
I touch no one and no one touches me.I am a rock, I am an island
And a rock feels no pain, and an island never cries.

Hot off the presses guys:
Gmail chat now offers the option to sign in to your AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) account to chat with your AIM buddies from Gmail. Your AIM buddies will populate your Contacts list, and are searchable just like your Google Talk contacts.
Chatting with your AIM buddies is easy—just click on a name in your chat list, and start typing.
Note that an AIM account is required to use this feature. AIM in Gmail is not a Google Talk and AIM federation; it’s the ability to sign in to your AIM messaging account from Gmail. Gmail uses Open AIM to provide this feature.
How very Web 2.0 of Google.

Saturday morning I woke up and didn’t have my morning cup of coffee, and by cup of coffee I mean 8oz mug when I brew the coffee and then a 16oz travel mug in the car. Afternoon came and I didn’t have any then either, I decided I’ll quit coffee.
So it’s going awful, I’m actually less tired than I had been but I’ve been snapping at people left and right for no reason and my head is constantly aching. I’ve quit coffee before, for about 3 weeks this Summer while traveling, but it wasn’t this bad.
I think since school has begun I’ve been drinking a ton of coffee every day, even into the night time. Just a few days ago I had a large cup of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee at like 7pm. It doesn’t really effect my ability to sleep. In face when I am drinking coffee all day I find myself tired regularly.
Quitting now wasn’t really good timing on my part, I have finals in a week and just had some hectic things happen in my personal life, but hey, there’s never a good time to quit, is there?
